FAQ's - Locums

Locumate brings shifts directly to you based on your preferences. All you need to do is register. Once your AHPRA details have been verified, you will be able to browse shifts. 

The verification process can take up to 24 hours. 

No. Locumate provides the ability for Locums to set their rates and availability. You will be notified about shifts that match your requirements. 

The rate for each shift is clearly displayed on the job card. You can just ‘grab’ the shift. No need to negotiate rates. Once you complete your shift, we will send you an alert to submit your timesheet directly from the Locumate App!

Once you complete your shift, Locumate will send a reminder to submit your timesheet directly from the Locumate App. After the timesheet is submitted, it will be sent to the Pharmacy for approval. 

Once the timesheet is approved, Locumate will start the invoicing process on your behalf. That’s right, no more messy and time consuming admin work!

You can reset your password on the Locumate Platform?

You can reset your password on the Locumate App or on a browser (app.locumate.com.au).

  1. On the logon screen enter your email address
  2. On the password screen click on ‘Forgot password’
  3. Enter the verification sent to your email address
  4. Enter your new password

There is no fee for Locums to register and find shifts on the Locumate App. 

FAQ's - Pharmacies

You can post shifts in 3 simple steps:

  • Sign up as a Pharmacy
  • Setup your profile to provide critical information about your pharmacy to Locums
  • Create a Job Post

There is no cost* associated with posting Jobs on the Locumate Platform.

*An application service fee applies on the completion of a shift.
